About LMA
WHAT WE DO
We are a collection of people dedicated to helping others expand their worlds by acquiring new languages. There are plenty of language schools and online courses, but we differ from all of them because we don’t just teach a language, we teach language acquisition.
Language acquisition understands that language is more than a collection of words and grammatical rules. It is a means of self-expression. It is a bridge that connects people. It’s more than facts and information. It needs to be treated differently.
FOUNDER'S STORY
Matej first fell in love with polyglotism when language lifted him from loneliness in his youth. Later, he saw that same pain in others from that same inability to communicate, and in that he saw opportunity. “If I were the world’s greatest juggler, people would be impressed, but I’d rather show them how to juggle instead.” Matej does not juggle. He engages with people.
So when traditional methods failed to impart to him the ability to converse in other languages, he went on an adventure across the globe. He befriended polyglots in many places. He listened to their journeys to mastering multiple languages. Then he took the best elements of each, combined them, refined them, and developed a new method of language acquisition.
Equipped with something special, he built a company to deliver it: Language Magic Adventures. Through this, he offers others the opportunity to go on adventures similar to his own. Matej does not juggle, he acquires languages, and through his company he teaches others to learn new languages just like him.

Learning in LMA happens as a result of relationships. Adventurers become friends with someone from another country and culture, and learn new ways of thinking and living through exploring these new relationships.
What makes us special?
Almost everyone has taken a language course before. Maybe it was part of their primary education. Maybe it was something they pursued on their own. Almost everyone has, and almost everyone has been disappointed with the results.
This is because most traditional language classes treat language as a subject no different from physics or history: something to be studied, memorized, and perhaps understood.
