2. Basis for processing personal data
We process your personal data on various legal grounds, which are further explained below. We also process data for different purposes, which you can find out more about in the sub-sections below. If we process your personal data for additional purposes not defined in this privacy policy, we will inform you in advance.
All data that you provide to us is provided voluntarily, except in cases where the law requires it from us. In this case, providing personal data is mandatory. If you do not want to provide certain personal data, we will not be able to provide you with certain services. For example, if you do not provide us with the data we need to conclude a contract with you, you will not be able to attend our courses.
2.1. Carrying out our services
To carry out our services (conducting online courses in foreign languages), we process data such as:
- Name and surname,
- Payment data,
- Email address,
- Address,
- The name that the individual uses during video calls,
- Data on legal entities when the client is a legal entity,
- Data on your interests,
- Recordings of your calls.
We process personal data on the legal basis of a contract. We store them for 5 years from the end of the course with us. We keep the documentation that we need due to tax legislation obligations for an additional 10 years from the end of the course.
2.2. Reservation of a free session
To conduct a free session of a foreign language course, we need some information from you. These include: name and surname, email address, phone number, data on the language you are interested in, data on available terms. We collect data on the legal basis of our legitimate interest, namely the presentation of our method, based on which foreign language courses take place at LMA. We keep them for 6 months from the day of communication with you.
2.3. Processing of inquiries
We process received inquiries based on our legitimate interest to ensure effective communication with potential course participants and to prepare quality responses. We process the following personal data: name and surname, email or phone number, content of the inquiry. We keep them for 6 months from the day of communication with you.
2.4. Other processing purposes
We also process your personal data for certain additional purposes, namely:
- For the purpose of asserting our rights and fulfilling requirements in official proceedings. In this case, we process personal data based on the law, and the data set depends on the individual proceedings. We keep the data for the entire duration of the proceedings and for 10 years after the final resolution.
- For statistical processing of website usage, based on our legitimate interest in optimizing our website. We only process aggregated data where individual identification is not possible.
- For the purpose of improving and optimizing our services, we process videos of completed courses, where we first pseudonymize the data, making individual identification no longer possible. We process this data in this form based on our legitimate interest in improving our services and products. We will keep the data for 5 years after pseudonymization.
- Signing up for our newsletter. We allow all our subscribers to receive notifications and updates regarding our business. We do this based on the law. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by contacting us at info@lma-method.com.
- Providing a positive testimonial. We process your personal data for the purpose of sharing your experience using our services for publication. We process the following personal data: name, surname, and a video with a positive testimonial. We process your personal data based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. The exact retention periods for each purpose are defined in section 2 of this policy.
4. Transfer of personal data
We export your personal data to the United States of America, using technical measures to protect your data during each transfer.
We also share personal data with contracted processors who perform certain services for us, including:

- language companions and guides who provide certain services for us.
